Why 3' DIY Gutter Underground Downspout Drain Kits are Better than 4' Downspout Kits [ New 2023 ]

When you put the royal blue four inch pipe up against a three inch pipe you can see why people love installing the three inch pipe for roof runoff systems. It's 60 percent less excavation to run a three inch line and you can run this right over your sprinklers. 4 in. pipe you would have to run under the sprinklers, or you have to cut the sprinkler lines and reroute them. 4 in pipe is just so much more digging - sixty percent more labor and excavation.

You could run up to two downspouts on a three inch line. The problem of the past was, how do you connect a pop-up to your three inch corrugated pipe? So we went ahead and made a fitting that'll take you from a pop-up to three inch corrugated.
