Hi guys, how are you? So we woke up to some news that made us almost choke on our early morning coffee, it seems that the iconic Metal Gear Solid saga may soon return to PlayStation in the form of a spectacular remake.

As much as I’d love for MGS1 to get another remake, I’m still waiting for MGS5 to get an ending

You could argue that a Metal Gear Solid remake would be a new game cos it couldn't just be like Shadow of Colossus and Demon Souls, it would have to be a brand new game so it should be very interesting to see how it turns out if true. My only worry would be game length but if they included all the special missions content then that would improve things a lot. I just hope they keep the soliton radar system. My personal favorite MGS game is MGS2 Substance so I would love it if the remake included all of or at least some of the special missions content because that's why I loved substance so much, all the extra content it had.

We ALL loved Metal Gear Solid, but we’ve seen a remake on Gamecube. Why not get real creative with a remake of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake?

Metal Gear Solid is the third game, not the first. The first two games are Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake for the MSX in Japan. You can play them on Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence or Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater HD.

I would prefer the first mg and mg 2, since those are the oldest, or maybe both and then mgs, then they could remake 2 and 3.

Crap msg1 dont get me wrong would love to play it again but can we get msg3 first? It is the oldest in the timeline

One of the best games ever made. I’ll lose it if that actually gets announced but I’m not getting my hopes up...it’s Konami don’t forget. They are assholes about their IPs. Especially Metal Gear.

I really hope this isn't true.
Anyone thinking they wont release a completely broken, uninspiring, engine repurposed, lootboxed piece of shit is straight up delusional.
But people love to toss their money at nostalgia, even if it means ignoring their abusive daddy Konami beating them with a belt.
