RTX 4090 | Cyberpunk 2077 - 4K, 8K - Native, DLSS, Frame Generation, Ultra, RTX

NOTE - This test was conducted in the press release version of the game for FPS testing with Frame Generation and DLSS 3 (which are not out yet for the general public). I've noticed that performance is a bit lower than the retail version.

Testing the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 24GB GPU in CP2077 at 2 resolutions, using the ultra, high and max (ray tracing) settings, with and without DLSS and FG.

Hey guys! Note about the performance in this video:

As I've seen many of you asking why the performance was low compared to other videos, I looked into it and found that the press release version of the game (with DLSS 3 and FG) is actually more intensive than the current retail build that everyone can play at the moment.

I got aroud 5-10+ more fps on the retail version than the version I tested in this video, even under 99% GPU usage on both.

This card's insane, but the performance gains in some games are marginal ? I thought it would get 8k60 native on RDr2, as well as 100+ fps GTA V at your custom settings but it got just barely 60fps avg...

When testing Cyberpunk 2077, make sure you set the "Slow HDD mode" to "OFF" instead of "Auto." The Auto setting doesn't really do a good job.

If you have a 3070 or above, or a 6800 or above, and want to run the game native 4k 60: Use the "high" preset, and drop "screen space reflections" and "ambient occlusion" to "low" and it'll hit 60fps fine. I run that on my 6800, or I'll run all "high" settings with FSR on Ultra Quality. But for native 4k, you need to have those 2 settings on low.

Crazy! I don't mind DLSS. If I have to pixel peep to find inconsistencies then it's fine for me. 4K Psycho settings with Ray Tracing getting above 60fps is really great. I like what the 4090 brings to the table

Youtube compression is so terrible that it's pretty hard to tell if there are any artefacts using frame generation, I certainly couldn't see any.
