it has some pitting around the bottom rim so we are going to clean off the rust and repaint the bottom rim only.

Man that is a great idea on that tool you made and I wonder if in the future when you run across a stuck generator nut if it would be easier to remove the whole assembly from the fule line and drop her in a vice it's crazy becouse thatbstove looked prety clean it just goes to show sometimes looks can deceive ya ...ps I need one of those tools lol

Might start on my 2 new/old lantern today.. Nothing major though.. seems to burn a bit weak maybe clean out Gen and refresh fuel and see how she does. Got my new cap seals and pump cups from OCP the other day quick service for sure
