In this video i camp out in sub freezing temps in an ohio forest at my bushcraft camp. No ultralight on this trip! 15 degree Fahrenheit temperatures and some issues setting up a tarp... rough video as well. sorry. :P

Nice!! I went tarp camping just this past Saturday in Mohican site #3, it was amazing!! Although I struggled to get a good fire going and my water filter froze on me, but still had a great time and woke up to 6 inches of snow the next morning.

I like bushcrafty / freezing cold videos. We don't get that kinda cold down here very often. I sleep with a ranger roll. I don't even own a 40 degree bag.

This trip kind of sums up trips. There are parts that just suck or frustrate you, but there are things that go well or are cool. You learn something you maybe wouldn't have, and makes the trip worth. Still good to just be outdoors
