Took my 16' Tundra to the dealer to have the blower replaced. For some reason the morons tore apart my glove compartment and still did not replace the fan. I bought a blower and replaced it myself in 15 minutes. NOTE you dont need a T25 driver, you can use a 8mm socket instead. Its easier. And you dont need a trim tab tool. You can just use a flathead screwdriver or your finger.

Thanks for saving me a ton of money! Replaced the one in my 2016 Tundra with no problem at all. Took about 20 mins.

My 2010 tundra was making a weird zip low noise everytime i turned the ac on. I went to parts store and literally replaced on their parking lot thanks to this video. Took me about 10 mins, the old blower had some leafs so I thought maybe that was the reason. But I turned with my hand and I could hear the same noise it was making with the ac on. The noise went away with the new blower.

I was changing motor in a 2017 sequoia. Bummed it went out, but glad the engineers didn't hide it deep inside the dash.

Awesome video
And no wonder why I couldn’t find a resister for my 2011 tundra. Mounted on the blower motor as long as my 11 is the same as u have here

Wow, thanks for this video! I almost brought my truck to the shop because the noise it was making was so crazy. Fixed it myself in 10 minutes after watching this. I live in the country, and a rat had made a nest out of the fan filter.... now I just need to find pest extermination ideas.

Great video, too bad you don't have the part on your website. Tried to buy one but says it doesn't fit my 2019 Tundra - and none available when searched for blower motor with my vehicle selected.

I feel like mine doesn’t blow hard enough I have a 2015, or is that just how the tundra is ? My wife has a Jeep and thing is strong lol

Well thank you I have successfully replaced my first ever blower motor. The sad news is that unfortunately the way things work for me is that it’s never the thing people say to try. It’s always always always always something else. I’m certain whatever the most inconvenient thing is that’s what will be wrong…. I try not to throw myself pity parties but man I was just really really hopeful.. like man I was so hopeful it would just be the blower motor. But it’s not. It’s the wiring or something that’s going to basically be impossible for someone to replace without dropping $10k. I 100% guarantee that it’s not going to be the simple fix.

On My 2017 Tundra, the fan is randomly changing speeds… is this the reason you swapped out the fan? I was guessing maybe the resistor is going bad…?
