This might seem mad to you, but I ended up with tears in my eyes watching this. In my country, home alcohol brewing was outlawed in colonial times so that sugar-cane land owners could make commercial rum. They outlawed ganja too back then. But the art and culture of home winemaking was repressed. Only illegal dealers would make it. And people still bought illegally made alcohol for weddings and special occasions. But this very intricate, cultured and experienced way you make wines makes me feel the generational loss. I am very grateful to you for introducing me to this Mataji. And perhaps will help you be patient for our ignorant questions to you. Thank you so much.

It took a few more days to become yeasty even though it is summer here. We have imported grapes here, and though it did have seeds in them, I am not sure about the additives in them. But once it started, it became bubbly fast. My first pineapple fermentation is bubbling like it should. I am so, so grateful to you Mataji.

Can i also dry the yeast for even longer live time because bought ones are dry and hold very long. And this is a great video.

How do you know that the yeast is developing. I made this and stirred it 6 hours later but there are no bubbles etc. Does this mean that it is not working? When do bubbles appear?

Hello, to add this yeast to the grape juice, must the yeast fermentation be finished, or should we add it to the grape juice on the second day when the yeast has bubbled?

Hi thanx for the video, its very simple, i like simple stuff. Im from asia in my country we dont have good grapes & the one available imported with washed so is there any alternative tropical fruit to grapes ? & can i use green lemon instead of orange ?

can I add this wild yeast to grape juice directly and start the second fermentation without adding any other kind of yeast
i mean I will add one cup of this wild to 20 liters of fresh juice and add sugar then mix and install the air lock and start fermentation for 2 to 3 weeks
