And Alastor is so sassy and 💯 done with Vox's sht and his cheap tactics to get his attention, cuz it's obvious that the act of "look how much better that you I am" isn't fooling anyone. Alastor face is like "Oh no this crap again, you don't know how pathetic you look, you are lucky that I find you somewhat entertainment". He's tired but can't help to give in to the game, after all he has a massive ego too.
I can wait to know more about their relationship in the show after all "complicated and sad" can mean alot of things.
