Days 85-113 in a Desert-only Hardcore world - Minecraft 1.21 Relaxing Longplay

Hello and welcome to episode 5 of this series! ✨
"Journal Entry #4
26 days passed in what felt like a blink of an eye. After countless hours working under the harsh Sun and late into cold nights, I now stand before my house. My own house. My home in Waset, in this world.
Somehow this all feels like a feverish dream. Not only have I found my way to the land of the Eternal Shifting Sands, a place I have only ever heard about in myths and tales, but I also have, officially, built a home here. More than the house itself, I’ve found myself growing attached to Waset and the people in it.
Enough to be worried about their safety and to join a group effort on fortifying the village. For now the plan is to build simple walls, but, eventually, defensive towers as well.
It is still strange to think that, after so long, I have somehow managed to fulfill the wish we made together that night. Or at least, my side of the wish. It is a bittersweet thing. The happiness I feel at being here is tempered by the sorrow I feel over the fact that you are not. We promised we would find this place together, yet before we could, you went somewhere I can not follow. I hope that, from wherever you are right now, that perhaps you can watch me and see that even though you’re gone, I kept my word.
May the gods of this land guide your eyes and soothe my heart.

I'm not used to Hardcore and I've never done a desert-only world before, so it is both like an interesting and fun challenge and an interesting and fun way of playing Minecraft, out of my comfort zone.
