I use Intellij IDEs since 2012, tried some others several times - nothing is comparable to it. Yes, it's damn greedy on resources, probably the most heavy IDE - my top-tier-laptop causes global warming while indexing a big Scala project. But no other IDE helps so much as Intellij. E.g. VSCode - smooth and lightweight, but with all possible plugins installed I still feel like a blind kitten, especially when refactoring code

God I love this IDE(s). <3 I worked with Netbeans and Eclipse, but buying the JetBrains Toolbox was a very good decision (for me). It's just fast and flexible and it allows me to hide all toolboxes just by pressing an key. The Integration of Technologies like Spring Framework is also perfect!

...but lately it killed all my POM.XML files for Maven, after renaming an Java class from "Version" to "ProductVersion", which also renamed all "<version>"-Tags of the Dependency-Elements, in these XML-Files to "productVersion". Even the version-Attribute in the XML-Preprocessor-Tag! WTF? xD
Ok, on the other hand it's also my fault because I just clicked "Search in Comments and Strings" AND "Do Refactoring" without reading the Refactoring Preview Report. ^///^
