That makes the keyboard ignore quick taps on the keyboard but doesn't shut it off, it basically stops accidental presses where a key is held down too long and it types that character repeatedly or a quick accidental press of the keyboard. I really don't understand how this is turning off everyone's keyboard because that's not what it does, it turns off or on the Filter Key shortcut. Am I missing something, maybe? I am tired, perhaps I missed a step someplace.?
Usually, ctrl+alt+l will work, or press the Windows key + x, then from the list open the device manager. Scroll down to keyboards, open that menu, right-click on the keyboard you want to disable and click either "disable" or "uninstall", then OK to confirm. When you want to use it again, follow the same steps, but click either "enable" or "install" and it will turn back on again. Do not know what the guy in this video is on about. Or maybe these keyboard shortcuts work differently in the USA.
Maybe he can fix his video with the correct information or put in the title what countries he knows it works in. Because this way he's just getting tons of views but not helping anyone with keyboards from the US, like I said possibly this works in other countries.

My kitten locked my laptop keyboard while I was out of the room, and I ended up rebooting it before I found this video. I've since disabled filter keys so hopefully no repeats 😂

Just go to Settings> Keyboard> Disable Filter keys. Thats it.

My left side of mechanical keyboard is locked somehow tab, caps lock, shift, cltr not working on the left side but it’s working on right side
