Fault calculations is very important in Electrical Protection, because it help you select the appropriate equipment rating to protect your network, determining the amount of fault current will guide you through the selection of current transformers, circuit breakers and other protection apparatus.
In this tutorial we calculate the fault current magnitude and their SC MVA located at 2 different location on our network.
