They are NOT waterproof over all of time though. I got mine in Nov 2020. Today, late Sept 2022, I was walking around in wet dewy grass and my socks got all wet -- in the foot, not the ankle. So while they might be waterproof out of the box, it wears off. They are not permanently waterproof it seems. Argh. Just FYI to you future viewers. They are great and comfy boots, but not permanently waterproof. I guess Nikwax is how you can re-waterproof them.
