I grew up with all 3. Shrek, Hoodwinked and Happily N'ever After, and I LOVED all of them. While yeah, Happily Never after is the worst one, it's by no means bad, while it lacked in story and animation...it was Just Funny

Hoodwinked was way better.

I will say to be fair with Rick calling her Ella, Cinderella isn’t really supposed to be a nice name, it’s what her stepmother and stepsisters have been calling since she does all the chores, like sweeping up the cinders, it’s meant to kind of signify her place as a servant to them. So having her love interest refer to her as Ella is a good way to show that he views her more as a person.

The animation is 10 times worse and the script/story is also 10 times worse.

I thought this movie was awesome....when I was like, six. But over time, I saw the flaws in it. And, boy, were there a lot.

Calling it a Shrek clone is a bit far-fetched in my opinion. It's based on fairytales, that's about where the similarities end for me. I always loved it as a child and honestly don't see a point in comparing it to anything. All that matters is that kids enjoy it, which the film did perfectly well.

What are you even on about? Shrek doesn't have George Carlin as God on vacation. So....

It is closer to red shoes and the 7 dwarves than to shrek, and both movies have kronc's voice actor.

Honestly, I thought the movie was boring. I did like the designs of the buildings and of Moog and Mambo. But I felt that it conceptually kinda made no sense. But there was nothing I really hated about it except the attempt at narration at the beginning, explained more than it needed to and Rick being a brat at the beginning even then he mellows out a little.
