I just discovered that if you tap the home button when displaying the scroll bar, the current time is displayed and at what time will you finish watching the movie. Pretty neat!

This video was very helpful. I did not know about charging the remote and I don't remember getting a message from the TV about my battery level. Now my remote is not responding to anything. It is too bad that you can't see if your battery is charging when you plug it in. I guess you just have to plug it in and keep checking it to see if it works. Right now my remote is not working and the white light on my Apple box does not stay on. When I unplug the power cord, it comes on for a minute and then goes out. I assume that is because my remote needs to be charged.

I just bought the Apple TV box to replace Amazon Firestick. My live TV service is Tek Savvy TV. Is there a way Apple TV remote can click back and forth from current station to last station? Handy if 2 games on live tv at the same time.

This remote absolutely sucks for controlling Spectrum TV. This video helps a little, but I look forward to next year, when I can switch back to Verizon/Frontier so I can get a much easier remote to deal with. I am a diehard Apple customer, but I HATE using this remote. HATE, HATE, HATE IT. Plus the Spectrum screens are much more confusing than Frontier. Maybe this is caused by Apple TV, but I have no way of telling.

Do you have any short cuts to work the DVR recording and deleting of shows? Also my DVR seems to be defaulted to series and I cant figure out how to just record one show verses getting a series. I am with Spectrum Streaming through the Apple TV

Press Siri button and say “Battery level” and the Remote battery status will be displayed. If you have Airplay Max headphones, their battery level will be displayed also.
