How DNS Works #comptia In this video, we discuss the Domain Name System and how it works. This is essentially the same thing as asking "How does the Internet Work?", and it's a fascinating subject that most people know little about.

Throughout the video, we are also going to cover common terminology that is on the CompTIA Network+ exam, some of which overlaps with the Security+ and A+ exams.

In our case, we start our journey from a users computer, and trace their request through the DNS Resolver, to the Root Server, the TLD Server, Authoritative Name Server and finally back through the user to the Web Server.
