Riding the World’s Fastest Maglev Train in Japan

I rode the Fastest Maglev Train on the Planet or should I say, the world's fastest train ever built and I reserved it for the day all to myself. I contacted the maker of the fastest train in the world, JR Central, and asked them if I can reserve their maglev train for an entire day. And they said, Yes. Filmed in June of 2022, I’m the first YouTube content creator to ever get full access to this Yamanashi Maglev Train testing facility. I'm going to go inside and give a full maglev train tour. JR Central's research started in 1962 and they’ve been developing the Maglev Technology ever since, ultimately building what we’re going to ride today, the Linear Chuo Shinkansen Train…The fastest train on the planet running initially from Tokyo to Nagoya and then to Osaka, officially opening after 2027. It's in the Guinness World Records as the fastest magnetically levitated (magelev) train at the speed of 603 km/h (374.69MPH). The train’s normally operating speed is about 500km/h (311mph). Which means it cuts down the current Tokyo to Osaka 2.5 hour Shinkansen ride down to only 67 minutes. For people in the States, Washington DC to New York in just one hour! Fun little fact, this superconducting maglev train operates without a driver physically seated in the train’s cockpit, instead, you’ll only find cameras there. It’s all fully automated.

I don't think people quite understand how difficult is to do all these videos, especially when getting authorization from Japanese companies to film all their facilities. Amazing job!

Man, Paolo is on another level as a Japan content creator. And I like how lowkey and chill he is given the fact.

Congratulations for being the first YouTube content creator to visit and ride the fastest train in the world. What a milestone. Something you can tell Wolfie when he is old enough to understand that dad rode the first fastest train.

At 8:00 I was flabbergasted when the train wheels went up and the whole train started floating. I understand the basics of maglev, but seeing it in action is something else.

Woah, I watch several Japanese culture channels, but heck, Paolo is getting really big, he had the train for himself, literally. What a professional and his appearance is so casual...

That was so cool, thanks for bringing this amazing train to our screens. I'm only a little sad that you couldn't bring your littlest, biggest train fan along for a ride 🥰

This is crazy I just recently saw this on Hajime's channel and it was crazy. The rain in that video really showcased how fast it was from the sounds. I still can't believe how fast it is.
