OMG!! The City of Dreaming Books is one of my favorite books ever! It is originally translated from German, and I don't know how good the translation is, because I read it in original language and there it plays a lot with words, but if it is nearly as good, then I hope you will love it so so much! ❤

Omg that air awakens bind up!!! Well worth the read! I just finished vortex visions which is the second series in the same world and it made me love air awakens even more. I might go back and re-read it. I think you will really enjoy it once you get into it. I love the way Kova writes her fantasy - for me things feel cozy and similar to traditional fantasy, but at the same time she does some cool stuff that feels different. She’s become an auto buy for me! I’d say the tone is similar to her married to magic, but character work, world building and magic grows more in her series since you spend more time in her world. I hope you enjoy!!

I love Django Wexler! I made my way through the shadows campaigns last year. Great inclusive military fantasy. His newer series BurningBlade and Silvereye is great too

I just read Mooncakes and really enjoyed it. It really comes into that "cozy fantasy" read and feels like a hug. The illustrations are beautifull. Hope you enjoy reading your haul !

The city of dreaming books is great, I'm from Germany and I read it in the original german version and the translated english version and both are equally great. The second book in the series is also great in both versions :)
