There comes a time in any career when you get to a certain point, you take a look around, and you’re like, you know what? I think I’m done. I’ve accomplished a lot. Met some great people. Made some great connections. Felt like I’ve actually contributed something to the world. And I just kind of feeling like, I’ve got nothing left to prove–and there’s no further that I want to take this. So this is goodbye.

I had the feeling that it was going to be about your retirement from the army 😁 I completely agree with you on the success of the channel, it’s about being consistent in delivering core values and a message for your readers/audience. In the influencers sphere, these people actually deliver content for themselves but not necessary for the benefit of their audience and, of course, without being consistent. I got into watches because of He Spoke Style. Back in 2017 I was trying to dress better for my mortgage job. I was only intersted in dressing the part and not really much of a watch guy, you slowly started to publish more watch focused content that intrigued me and I got the bug. Fast forward a few years and I quite that job to pursue my new found passion for watches. I now have my own watch boutique (Greenwich Time in Newport Beach) and I’m an authorized retailer for my favorite brand. Thank you for all you have done for me personally. I think you legitimately changed my life. I’m glad you can put your entire effort on HSS.
