Jeremy, the book in question is called Maus. It's a biography of the writer/ artist's father and his escape from persecution and how it shaped the man.
But, it's also about a son trying to understand the tragedy and trauma and why his father is sometimes cranky and distant. It's about history. Honestly, it's hard to read. It's obviously not fun. The book was pulled because of some language and non sexual nudity.
Maus will make you feel uncomfortable.
That's the point.

Ok, call me nitpicky, but as a history nerd I can't let this go. The holocaust wasn't the cause of or a leading factor to WW2 as the orders of the final solution were implemented 2 years into the war. What caused it was Hitler and Stalin's joined invasion of Poland which triggered the British to declare war against the axis powers.

Not saying you're bad for not knowing, and I respect a lot of what you say. I just had to let my historical frustration out. 👍🏻🇺🇲🐻
