A Rare Alexa

I’m not the only one who has this Demo Alexa. I asked this person if they still have one and if they could make a video for proof…. This is what they gave me.

They show more than I do on how different this Echo is.

It bothers me that A: this proves that the ring has full rgb and B: they have yet to implement it in any way that the user can control. I'd love to set a mood light on, or have certain reminders from my calendar show different colors, or change the wake color and whatnot

To start admin mode, you need a display demo device.

To enter admin mode in Alexa:
1. Be sure that the microphone is mute, then press and hold the action mode until a rainbow ring appears.
2. Once it has a rainbow ring, you've entered admin mode.

Features in admin mode:
Volume control - When admin mode is on, use the ring to adjust volume.

To exit admin mode in Alexa:
1. You must first check your settings before exiting admin mode. Once you're ready, press the action button.
2. After that, it will not display the rainbow ring, which means you've exited admin mode.
