The Bible says a lot of things that nobody can make sense of. The old testament is written, mostly in ancient Hebrew and the New Testament mostly in ancient Greek. These are two languages, extremely difficult to translate into English. The English translation is so hard to understand and it’s so open to confabulation that it is ridiculous!
I am a translator of Japanese and English. These are two, obviously, modern languages, but they are so different in sentence styling and syntax, and it makes it almost impossible to translate them accurately. Which makes ancient Hebrew in ancient Greek, probably impossible to translate into English.
