Our sinful nature would surely lead to us to lose our salvation and fall away if left to our own desires, BUT our Lord saves his sheep and will not leave us (John 10:28). If you are truly saved you can be assured of your salvation.

In my opinion some of the scariest verses in the Bible are found in Matthew 7:21-Matthew 7:21-23

[21] “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord, ’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
