I started having a problem with syncing new folders and new fles from my cell to my laptop, not from laptop to cell phone.

When I create a new folder (or add a new fille to an existing sub-folder in google drive) using my cell phone, the file or folder will not upload to Google Drive online or my laptop. However, When I add a new file using my cell phone to the main google drive folder (not subfolders), it will upload. I also noticed that when I create new folders using my cell phone, the link sharing will be off and I am not able to turn on link sharing from my cell phone. This started happening about 3 months ago and it's super frustrating because I cannot work from my phone when I am away from my computer.

This year, I did replace my laptop twice after they were accidentally damaged and I had to install google drive to my laptops. So, I don't know if the new computer was possibly set up wrong.

Can you help? If not, any suggestions where I can get help from? The videos in youtube are in not in English (at least the most recent ones that were uploaded) so I don't understand how to fix this problem.

I should try contacting Google directly, too, I guess.
