'When in doubt, shoot it down' - is the best course of action with random rockets, drones and missiles these days.

When I was in the Navy in 1981 our carrier group spent about a month circling around about 300 miles away from Lebanon just in case something happened. This tension has existed for more than half a century now in that region.

Does nobody consider it extremely unlikely that a missile would be fired over the entire length of Saudi Arabia into Israel?

Seems logical to assume that launching from Yemen is also a message to the Saudis and that Iran has the team doing warm-ups before the game..

The United States is in position and at the ready. Iran is escalating a war. (There's going to be another war by or around the beginning of the new year at this rate in my opinion.) By the way what I have in brackets is my opinion the first statement is true not that that's a big secret we sent two strike carrier task force that region plus other military assets.

Sounds like total BS. You need a super sophisticated missile to travel 1000 miles. Yemen doesn’t have those. They are fighting Saudi forces. Why waste sophisticated missiles shooting at someone who is not exactly your enemy. If they had such missiles, they would be bombarding Riyadh or Jeddah instead.

The alleged fact that a US warship shot down an unknown missile not targeted the ship . . would that not conclude that the US navy now are actively involved in this war ?
