Can I make a Hyperrealistic WATER BOTTLE Cake?!

This week, I took drew one of your suggestions from a hat and turned it into a hyperrealistic cake! This cake was very difficult and there were a few times where I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to pull it off. Although it didn't come out perfect, I was able to overcome several challenges and learned a lot along the way 💚

I was reminded of Japanese raindrop cakes that use agar agar, they were really popular a few years ago and they're sometimes transparent

I think gelatin that comes in sheets is supposed to be more clear. And they sell flavorings that don’t distort the color too much. I also wonder if another material like agar might turn out well. But this is one of the most impressive things I’ve seen.

I’d love to see you do a cake or a tattoo machine or even just the sterling sheet with the tattoo supplies (think tattoo gun, ink cups, green soap, etc)

You could've used Agar-agar powder. It's used in raindrop cakes and is super transparent, just like water!

I think the coolest cake to see you make would be a cake of your cake sculpting tools, chuck of unused modeling chocolate, food coloring, etc. Making it look like your in the middle of sculpting a cake.

Next time you do a clear cake like this, you should try using agar-agar and jelly powder, using a similar technique to Japanese raindrop cakes!!! They're super clear and super cute!!!
