Great reporting. BTW Underground carparks are so much more comfortable with pure electric vehicles, also cleaner floors eg no visible oil spills.

Thx Sam for all you do. I am in the US (Texas) and I cannot get a RAV4 PHEV nor a 2022 NX450h. They are not available even though they advertise the heck out of them during football games here in the states. It's a joke as well as for the Hyundai Ionic 5 (you can't get one of them either unless you are in California and the dealers are price gouging). Last week, I went to the Lexus website and built out my spec. 2022 NX 450h (PHEV) and entered it. They came back and said, please contact the dealer and they would try to find me "an alternative". What a joke, I can wait, because my 2014 ML-350 BlueTec has been upgraded by Mercedes (they lost a class action law suit here in the states about emissions). They replaced most of the emissions controls on the engine and the Catalytic converter. The car was paid off in 2016, only has 78, 500 miles on it and gets 24 to 26 MPG in city/hwy driving. Like I said, I can wait for Toyota and Lexus to get their act together and manufacturer more hybrids and PHEVs.

PS - Oh, I own tons of BYDDF stock and bought XPEV last Thursday and loving it.

I would buy the Dolphine in a heartbeat, I live in New Zealand and want to buy an electric car asap. Right now the only realistic option for me is the MG EV and even that means a 6 month wait.

Remember when Apple released the first iPhone? Within a year everybody was ditching their Nokia/Blackberry and buying a new smartphone. After all, who could suffer the indignity of carrying a 'dumb phone' in their pocket? Every year for the next decade people would sleep rough outside the Apple store to be first to own the latest model. Methinks this decade will be the same for electric cars.

Byd closed in Hongkong stock market at about U$37.00 while in NY it reached about U$30.76 . >> I am talking about byddf not byddy. If you follow byd at the Hongkong stock market you will know what will happen about 12 before the market open NY .... I am not sure of what I am saying 😂

In Germany, the EV market in January rose 28 percent to 20, 892 (to the januari 2021 numbers) for a market share of 11.3 percent, but Tesla's sales slipped by 7.5 percent.
Big sales increases in the fully EV's, were Dacia, Mini, Hyundai, Porche and Kia.
Guess there is a high demand for more affordable EV's.

In Netherlands, Tesla January 2022 sales dropped 35% to the January 2021 numbers.
For comparison to what we earlier said about the December 2021 EV sales numbers, . . .Tesla sold 1882 EV's in the Netherlands in December 2021, and 9 in Januari 2022.
Thats why you cant pull a conclution from the sales numbers in December due to the changing of Tax rules in a new year.

And what were the total ICE sales and Happy customers of Toyota, GM, and Ford combined? Larger by maybe a factor of 8 or 10? Customers are still buying what they are selling and somehow that's bad?
