Yeah, that's something that Voiceplay is really good at. Even in their worst songs, they always really "slap" as I believe the term is now. Their bass and drums are amazing, Earl on those high notes is a real treat, and J None and Eli have a serious amount of soul to their voices, especially since they're both baritones and they're in the higher end of their registers.


This is one of my favorite covers of this song, and definitely my favorite a capella one.

Geoff did something that I don't remember him, or any other bass doing. Usually the bass just sings dum, dum, dum, etc. But Geoff was singing badum, dum, dum, more like a bass player hitting 2 strings instead if one string. It sounded unique. ... Guy
