2022 Honda HR-V Vi X review – BabyDrive

This new 2022 Honda HR-V Vi X has the looks of an EV but don't be fooled as this is the bottom-spec petrol engine model (the top-spec e:HEV L version is a hybrid) and it's a four-seater small SUV.

Yes, you read that right, it's a four-seater SUV!? Honda omitted to install a top tether anchorage for the central seat so they are not allowed to put a seatbelt there, making the Honda HR-V only a four-seater SUV.

The revvy engine and the uncomfortable steering wheel ruined the experience for me but the top-spec e:HEV L hybrid model has a nicer and more tactile steering wheel and a less revvy engine as well as the rear air vents to make rear passengers more comfortable (and so it should for an extra $10,000, yes you read that right).

How does the space for child/baby seats compare to the yaris cross?

Do you think a compact stroler like a nuna triv next would fit between front passanger and a child seat? Making more use of the huge leg room...

Do you think it will be weird for the rear passenger to sit on one end, and then the child seat to be on the other? Let's say, if a mother were to do so?
