What he means is that Sye didn't make any arguments, they were just preaching to a mostly Christian audience without reasoning. And there is no point in one more debate, 'cause they are not debating at all.

Thank....god, I am not the only person thinking this so called "defeat" is the most ridiculous thing to assume is what happened in that debate. Obviously that guy was not wanting to be berated and accused of outlandish morals. I am agnostic and I can say very confidently that both sides lost. Most definitely did not swing me either way with (mostly the Christian side) babbling. And I understood the questions of "eating babies", but c'mon we have to realize any type of person either religious or not they have some sense of morals. in turn why most religions have same morals because when created they knew right from wrong. Most of that debate was nonsense on both sides. Entertaining but don't expect to gain knowledge from it. Please excuse my punctuation I realize it is not the greatest.

I'm Christian but after watching the whole debate found it to be the worst debate I've ever listened to. Both sides were awfull. But what I found really dissapointing was the Christians came over quite hostile from the moment the debate started. I think that this type of debate is best done by the professionals and the Christians are probably great pastors and street preachers but dreadfull debaters. :(

Slavery in those days was voluntary unless u were caught doing something illegal, u worked for them in servitude/slavery for 7 years then u are released from servitude/slavery. And it is trivially easy to be either christian or atheist and find Sye's methods of debate to be shallow, unthoughtful and annoying.
