When you mentioned the word “Kem”, you caused me to remember what Malcolm X once said. Paraphrasing him, that the ancient Egyptians obviously had a knowledge of chemistry. He saw vivid paintings on walls, inside of pyramids that were thousands of years old. He compared it to today’s society where you have to paint your home every four to five years. The word African/Africa, to my knowledge, did not exist at that time. It's like calling the Ancient Hebrews of 2000 years ago, "Jews." You are partially right, but Egypt is derived from Ancient Greek "AEgyptos" which is an Hellenized word because its etymon is an Egyptian word " He ka Ptah" which literally means the Soul of Ptah House.
