After the successful Central offensive: the Gorlice–Tarnów Offensive the Germans moved towards Warsaw while the Russians were making the Great Retreat. Great video! As a Pole, I have to say that battles such as this one, that took place in Polish lands but didn't involve any Polish formations (although, there likely could be some Polish conscripts on both sides), tend to be omitted in our education and nearly don't exist in popular memory. Thanks for shining a light on this piece of history.

Unlike other history buff channels, there are no advertisement of other nonsense stuff, . This guy just go straight into the story and that is why this is great.

Another great video, we can always rely on you to find the little known but fascinating stories. The Germans truly hit the Mother Lode here. I imagine capturing a million artillery shells must have made them feel pretty invincible

Erg interessant. Niet eerder over gehoord. Is deze Stavka dezelfde persoon als we in WW2 zien?
