Really interesting to see how forward-heavy the top of this class looks. Seems to be a lot of the teams projecting to be toward the bottom of the league this season don’t have a true #1 defensive prospect (San Jose, Columbus, Calgary). Makes me wonder if a solid forward could drop to that 8-12 range.

Wouldn’t even be surprised if Schaefer goes 2-3rd overall. I saw him in the OHL playoffs vs Kitchener and he was easily the best player on the ice for both teams as a 16 year old

any specific reason for Hensler's drop as top D? Now early mocks have him anywhere from 9-15. Maybe limited upside, but i thought his skating was excellent in early reports?

Ryabkin didn’t outscore michkov
Michkov in his d-1 year had 1.81 ppg Ryabkin in his d-1 year 1.31 ppg
Ryabkin 44gp 58 points d-1 year
Michkov 28 gp 51 points d-1 year
Both in the mhl. Ryabkin isn’t close to michkov misleads stat ofc he has more points he played 16 more games and only had 7 more points 😂
