Thank you. This is the BEST ikea play kitchen hack video I have viewed so far, focusing on the function and user experience rather than "look and feel" only.

Great alternative to the huge mason jar water dispensers everyone else is using. So much more realistic.

This is exactly what I have in mind for my 3 kindergartners! Mine will go in my backyard by their picnic table and umbrella. I plan on building our own though because all these are made for toddlers and all three love to “cook”. I’m also making a DIY BBQ! Love your setup!

Such a clever idea. I’ll likely try this when my baby is old enough.

I never would have thought of this but now I’ll definitely try it. Thanks for sharing!

How did you do the contact paper on the round outside corners? Yours, from what I can see, looks great!! I just did this last night and the corners are terrible. 🤦🏾‍♀️ If they were square I could have done a better job, but with them being round, I'm not completely sure how to approach them. I think maybe the contact paper I used, which is definitely waterproof and seems fairly thick, could be the problem. I know you mentioned that yours didn't seem to be waterproof so maybe yours is thinner....🤷🏾‍♀️. Thank you!

Awesome idea and video. Thank you so much! I have been looking for instructions on how to do this. I didn't know the IKEA play kitchen feet could come off and it would be shorter. My son is only 15m and I've been looking at smaller play kitchens because the IKEA one is still too tall. How tall is the counter from the ground without the feet?

Hi! I just bought the kitchen already assembled and want to add contact paper. It looks like you originally didn't have contact paper and added it later. Do you remember the steps to disassemble so you could add the contact paper?

This is amazing!! I saw this video today and made this setup instantly. But my little one seems to be pulling out the sink constantly. Is there anyway to fasten that sink?
