We finally made it back to Magic Kingdom to experience Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party. The event is sold out for the rest of the season, so if you're going, know that it's going to be a sold out party. There was some rain. There was some candy. There were some clams. We got a little bit of everything in this review of the signature Halloween party at Walt Disney World!

Funny I recently bought the same pair of Crocs (also first pair!), we were walking from EPCOT and MGM when it started down pouring. My sneakers started giving me blisters so on the way back to EPCOT we went into one of the boardwalk stores and there were all they had in my size. I never thought I'd be a Crocs person but they are so comfortable I wore them into MGM the next day. Not the most fashionable things in the world but at this point comfort wins.

Oogie Boogie didn’t even have the real Sanderson sisters and I was so upset. I saw the name on the map for the meet and greet and then it was a bunch of animals. Outrageous.

Sorry to hear of your experience on 10/1. We were at the party on Sunday (9/29). We lucked out with no rain and short wait times so we got on lots of rides. We also came back with full bags of candy and only hit 4-5 stations. They were giving heaping amounts of candy at each stop. The candy trail lines were nonexistent later in the evening.

I've been to this party twice, and Disneyland once (pre oogie boogie bash). Mickey's Halloween Party is the best party experience I've ever had. It will be hard for me to get excited about paying the high ticket price again at Disney World without a ride overlay, and longer party length. In the mean time, I love to go to MK during the day on a Tuesday party night! Popping in line for SDMT or PPF right before 6 means we will be walking out seeing all the party guests in their costumes. There are some amazing humans coming in with very elaborate costumes!
