In this in-depth review and walkthrough tour, shot during the Düsseldorf Boat Show, we take a close look at this brilliantly packaged entry-level sportscruiser that is an ideal step up from a smaller sportsboat or weekender.

It’s a traditional sportscruiser design with a well-packaged main deck that incorporates a sun pad at its aft end, a U-shaped dinette on the port side and a wet bar with fridge, sink and optional grill to starboard, all protected by a deep wraparound windscreen. Whereas many rivals have a walk-through windscreen to access the foredeck, the S29 has symmetrical side decks that lead to the bow.

Below, the S29 is a treat for a 30ft boat. The headroom is good, it’s bright and spacious and you have a private double cabin amidships to partner the open-plan convertible dinette in the bow. A neat galley and separate bathroom with full standing headroom for someone of 6ft complete an impressive picture.

Single and twin petrol or diesel engine options on sterndrives provide a good mix of propulsion options and a top speed of 35 knots with the largest motors.

Watching this video for the second time. Just wanted to verify that that huge swim platform is available on this model.
Is there room for a seakeeper 1 below deck? I would also want seakeeper "ride" as opposed to the trim tabs.
Another $8k for a custom fiberglass hardtop and it will absolutely perfect for me

Meh, I'm not sold on it. It's practical (apart from the tiny, borderline dangerous side decks leading forward), but it's also ugly. Way too tall for the length. I'll happily give up standing headroom in the heads for a much more sporty-looking boat, like a Finnmaster T9 or Flipper 900 DC.

Nice boat BUT problem. It is totally under powered. Try putting three full-size adults in the backseat, then try to get the nose down almost impossible that Boat needs twin screws
