One thing I remembered about Taena that you didn't mention last time is her saying no to Cersei when she asked for her son to come to court so he and Tommen can be friends, and playing her off while Cersei was rambling some other thoughts in her head (I cant recall the text word for word but she was being her usual) Once again, what is Taenas hidden motives and why she is keeping her son safely away, when it is like the biggest opportunity for your child to be friends with the king ?? This means she is playing Cersei and Cersei only, and is there to bring no good to Kings Landing in the near future.

It's hard to overstate just how much I appreciate videos like this, offering original new ideas, and how much they help to make the wait for The Winds of Winter bearable. When the book finally does come out Preston should really consider making a video to see just how much he got right and if he really was "wrong about half of this" as he likes to say. I would bet my last gold dragon that a Redwyne/(f)Aegon alliance might just be one of the things the got completely right.

Another hint towards a Redwyne split along the lines of the Red and Green Fossoways; Arbor wine is almost always referred to in terms of its colour; either "Arbor red" or "Arbor *gold*". Martin almost pointedly *avoids* calling the former "red wine" and thus cementing the link. The gold also seems to be the more popular & prestigious variety, and is frequently associated with buttering people up (most obviously with Littlefinger's "lies and Arbor gold"). And it's never, ever called "white".

Hey, Preston, I find your videos pretty convincing. The houses secretly supporting someone other than their liege lord seems to be a reoccuring theme - something that I always found interesting enough to warrant a discussion is the thought that if readers are able to piece these secrets together, which book characters are also able to do so? A question for the podcast, maybe?
