Will they be properly prosecuted and sentenced? That is the key to reduce crime, without real consequences there is no real change, other wise it is just another Galvin's P.R stunt.

This does little to nothing! It’s like putting a band-aid on a wound that needs stitches. All for a publicity stunt since all of the businesses are packing & getting out of town recently. It’s a little too late.

9 to 1 odds that more than half of those arrested 4 days ago have been released by now with a future court appearance date. As for the ones still in custody, the vast majority will be sentenced to time already served (say 2 weeks) and be fined $500 to $1000, which they'll never pay.
