Human rights, environmental protection, social caring and economic equality, are all interrelated. I do believe that to meet the challenges of our times, human beings will have to develop a greater sense of universal responsibility and compassionate AI has a role to play in the coming years. A growing body of scientific evidence shows that compassion, like intelligence can be ingrained and enhanced in machine. Mainstream Artificial Intelligence is growingly interested in developing compassionate AI. Compassion is not just religious practice but necessity of human existence and growth. To overcome environmental crisis, political exploitation, arm race, violence etc. compassionate AI is urgently required. I loved the views of Dr. Amit Ray. Dr. Ray is absolutely right, we urgently need compassionate machine. Human has limitations. I wish we would be able to get the compassionate robots soon in our health centers, home and workplace.
