If Russia's nuclear arsenal is in the same level of repair as their conventional forces due to the rampant corruption, there may not be quite as much to worry about.

Russia seems like a threat, but I am getting more concern for the next battle with China because their president might have better tactics than Russia.

The current situation is dangerous if Putin does indeed have a terminal illness as some reports are saying. He might want to try to take us with him.

The Taliban's only weapon was an old RPG and Ak 47 just imagine if the Taliban had one-hundredth of the weapons the West gives Ukraine

And to think Russia originally wanted an alliance with America.

Context: while America was starting to become a global power, the Russian empire wanted an alliance incase Britain tried to attack them, and Britain could probably take one of them on in a war, but not both of them. Thats also a reason why Alaska was sold to America, to improve relations and block Britain a somewhat important strategical location

This is why Russia is not our moral enemy. That would be China.
I'm far more consered with China's growing power then that of Russia's. If the War in Ukraine has proven anything Russia is still stuck in the Cold War with little modernization. Though I'm still worried about Russia's nuclear arsenal. Thanks to the Soviets new technology is usually put towards upgrading Russia's nukes then anything else.

I hope things will go similarly to Germany after WW2

The video assumes that either Putin gives up voluntarily, or is replaced via palace intrigue with someone with the same overall goals but thinks they can be more clever about it, and not that the Russian people get fed up and something radically different emerges, as occurred in 1917 and 1991. Now radically different doesn't automatically mean radically better, as seen in 1917, but it would seem to be more likely than not.

What happene if instead of pushing russia Western countries try to make a decent relationship with russia by not trying to threaten them by nato at their borders so that they focus more on their themselves and get a powerful allies to contain china.

Yeah but Russian nuclear arsenal is not a joke.
I explain that better. US have less nukes than Russia (6900 vs 7000 ~) and that's one of the reasons why Americans have to spend so much in defense: because maintain nukes perfectly operative through time costs a shitload of money. Right? Fine.
Now, American budget for defense is around 6-700 billions US dollars, ok? Right.
Then compare it with Russia.
More nukes, but the defense budget is? 61 millions of US dollars.
Just a tiny fraction of what Americans spends on defense.
So since Russians have still a considerable army, despite operating with obsolescent equipment and weaponry from the old Soviet era, that budget is not ever even closer to what its needed to keep their nuclear arsenal active.
It's highly probable that Russian nuclear capabilities are also way more restricted than in Soviet era.
So much that probably, they can keep in line just few of them. Ten, twenty, dunno. Here you have to ask to an expert of nukes.
But the point is that their nuclear threat is a bluff that safeguards them to being attacked by whoever have an army able to do that.
And moreover, this recent war is draining even more resources that will be consumed and not used to keep online nukes.
So, if Russia fails this war and will ever face a major post-war political, ideological and society crisis, they will definitely say goodbye to ALL their nuclear weapons. Their arsenal will become just a myth. And that lie about the operativity of their nukes will remain one of their best secrets.
Because if someone's discovers and brings out the proofs that their nukes don't work, then Russia, with their weak army, will not be able to stop anyone from invading them.
And I probably think Chinese will start a series of those "jokes" the same Russians are doing against European countries in order to get a piece of Siberia here and there. Until, of course, a possible fall of the Russian State in a possible Civil War.
If that happens, Siberia will be just absorbed by China, in the worst of the scenarios.
Of course western countries will protest officially against such actions, but if Xi Jinping or whoever rules the CCP in China have a smallest chance to make agreements and deals with the US Government, then goodbye to sanctions to China and welcome to Chinese occupation of Siberia.

No matter how pathetic the Russian military is, they still have nukes. And that alone means they need to be taken seriously

Bro really said Russia is weak because Ukraine just keeps getting more western supplies thus holding out longer
