Dang this channel deserves way more subscribers than it has. I’ve been watching/listening to these at work the last couple days and they bring back both fondness for the parks and sadness for the defunct attractions. You do a great job with your research, delivery, and choice of images/audio. Excited to see where you go.

27:56 as someone born in '98, this was my EXACT reaction to figment and journey into imagination with figment. i thought he was SO. FREAKING. ANNOYING! and the doctor was incredibly boring, the ride was only worth walking out there for the ac (though the end scene with all the figments was always fantastic.)

but around 2018 i started getting more into disney theme park stuff, and eventually ran into your video on journey into imagination. it BLEW MY MIND!! i finally understood why people enjoyed that purple beast so much! it made me a bit sad that i missed out on such a wonderful ride, but hopefully theyll make something wonderful and earnest with figment again someday.

I’ve been reading this guys articles since before finding this YouTube channel. Brian is a very talented writer. Awesome coincidence

Ps I remember the magic and immersion of tomb raider the ride. I remember the shroud if mystery surrounding its construction. It was my first real big boy ride that wasn’t a roller coaster. Miss it terribly. The value of my platinum pass isn’t quite the same without it.

Hey Kevin, I live in Peru and school starts in March. We are currently in summer. I was waiting the whole summer break for new podcast episodes to listen on my way and back from school. I’m really glad we at least got 2

Hello from KY! Grew up going to these! They gave me a huge complex in that I thought the best roller coasters hurt you a little bit. Haha

About the whole mystery thing and putting a ride in a building... they already had done it not long before with the outter limits indoor coaster. Also with lots of theatrics

I'd love to see an episode about the Spiderman ride at Universal or the Spongebob 3D show at Paramount studios. Though I think the Spongebob one is still playing at some places

Caltain Eo was the bomb, it was my favorite attraction when I was a kid when it was a huge deal, when it came back after Michael’s passing it was also a huge deal. Still a classic.
