average socially necessary labor time in the abstract isn't actually as esoteric as it is presented here. It was esoteric before Marx, but thanks to Marx, as presented here, has penetrated the ideological fog and clearly lays out the features of the commodity in part 1 of vol 1 Capital. Argh! we in fact, very much do, spend our time, trading commodities for commodities, via the mediation of money in "our" (that is consumer expenditures) in our everyday economic activity.

The divvying up of profits amongst capitals in light of the differential rates of production due to the pace of variable capital (absolute surplus value due to the pace of living labor in production), the differential turnover times of different capitals due to technology in production, transportation or the assorted factors contributing to the realization o f value. For example, say via advertising - where the unique and independent effects of advertising provide a secondary effect of differential turn-over time for that capital (shorter turnover results in higher rates of return for the same capital and thus a higher rate of profit) and yet, advertising ceteris parabis also (when successful) accomplishes a kind of differential rent, where consumers are paying an extra increment of money for the symbolic association of the shoe with the symbolic value of Nike, which is a kind of differential rent that accrues to NIke and is derived from the lower price Target's cherokee brand sells for in relation to Nike for the (very similar) pair of shoes. Thus, differences in profit per se, as well as differential rents are occuring, and are captured, at the level of total social capital where profits, interests, and rents are carved up and distributed amongs the various capitals (that is the private for-profit firms) in competition with each other.

After watching this, I can already conclude mainstream view of Karl Marx is fucking horrible. Thank you for doing this, God bless your channel.

Is exchange value determined by socially necessary labour or just an agreement between producers in the market without considering any measures they use to determine how many of commodity A equal that number of commodity B ?

In other words is the socially necessary labour the method karl marx used to understand what is common between different commodities, or is it the real law under capialism ?

Are use value and exchange value only useful terms within the context of capitalism?

Your voice is relaxing. It also reminds me of Adam Lanza’s voice.
