I sang this at CSULB in the early ‘70s under Frank Pooler. Pooler was the editor (with Walton Music) for several of the Scandinavian composers including Egil Hovland and Knut Nystedt. Wonderful to see it is still in the CSULB repertoire decades later. 2:27

The choir at my church, Saint Catharine of Siena in Cincinnati, sings this after Holy Communion during Advent. They also sang it at an "Advent Lessons and Carols" in November.

Manz does a fabulous piece of choral writing with this selection. The 100 voice choir at Grace Community Church in Panorama City CA performed this piece April 30th, '23. It was beautiful with a great ministering sound.
