I've done this many times for a good friend of mine. She's got a bunch of issues and, while I'm not going to put it all on here, every once in a while I get a call from her and she gets around to asking about her hair. I always drive over and spend a day brushing her hair out. I'm not a hairdresser or anything;just her friend.

Miracle workers! When I worked in an ICU my method was to apply Cake brand mane manager to wet hair in a bonnet style wash cap, let it sit for as long as the patient was comfortable then take a wet brush brand if the family would get me one or a cheap brush and comb and just work my way through it. Always worth it. I never wanted a patient to have to shave their head from a hospital stay.

I don't know how you would feel about this or your clients and I mean this with absolute respect as a groomer when I'm going through matting a lot of times I use Chris Christensen ice on Ice concentrate it really is magical I don't know if y'all would be willing to give it a try I know some people have really bad connotations about using dog products on people but I have gotten through fully matted ears within 5 to 10 minutes with that product
