Reading the comments I can see that I am not the only person who is upset over tangled hair. It’s enough to make a person cry. It’s nobody’s “normal.” I am encouraged to see that to end up with very long tangled hair is not unusual. But it’s solvable! Yay! 🙏🎉🎉

I came here looking for answers and thank all of you that worked on this young lady’s hair. My hair is very long, down to my butt lol that’s how this all started. I was so tired of it I just started putting it on top of my head in a covered band. It was fine until I got lazy and stopped brushing it out every day. I NEVER realized how wrong that was! I just spent about 2 hours (in 2 sessions) combing out the matted mess I created. A lot of my hair broke off but my hair is quite thick to begin with. So I’m finally finished and we will give it a good washing and conditioning tomorrow morning. I doubt it’s gonna look as beautiful as your customer’s does, you people did an awesome job, but I’m just happy I finally broke down and tackled the job! Thanks for sharing your experience, it’s given me hope as my hair used to be beautiful. blessings to all of you!! ❤❤❤❤❤

Its a whole different situation when you're doing this to yourself, but its doable. My hair is long, half way down my back, fine and damaged from bleach. I had a few months i didn't take care of myself, i lost my only child, a son named Jeffrey in March of last year (2023)
Anyway, i didnt wasn my hair for months. Id put gunk in it to slick it back with a scrunchie.
Well, i finally decided to try to get myself together. Ill jump right in.
Youll need a ton of conditioner, go to Walmart or whatever and buy a couple value size bottles of whatever is on sale. I happened to have Garnier on hand. Fill an empty container with equal parts conditioner and warm water. Saturate the hair first, than start dumping the 50/50 mixture on and gently work it in. Than do a pitcher of warm water (or use the sink sprayer) just enough to work that conditioner all through. I do this 2 part phase (50/50 mix -work thru - add warm water ) over and over without trying to pull tangles out. Its a bit tedious, but it smells great and with each condition bomb/rinse tne hair naturally untangles, to a degree.
After a good 20 minutes of that...im going to use more conditioner now, keeping hair soaking wet i glob on a cup or two of straight conditioner, and. Now i fluctuate using a heavy wide tooth comb and a lightweight plastic detangling brush, and alternate brushing out snarls -sometimes using the comb for one or two hairs at a time. Continue the process all over. The nape is really the worst and most painful. Bomb it with conditioner as many times as you need to until you can run your fingers through your entire head of hair. Rinse well. Than work in a leave it conditioner+ i like biosilk, but you can use the 50/50 mix and it works fine.
Be prepared for super silky, clean and completely moisturized hair. -

Her hair looks so better in the after shot than my hair ever has. You guys are amazing and gave me strength to work on my sons hair who went to a water park with his dad followed by a beach trip. His has very kinky curly hair and shoulder length when dry when blow-dried straight (never done-but seen it when it was wet it goes to his elbows) he is only ten and overweight and does not want to cut his hair

For Context you Need a Heavy Duty Hair Brush, Coconut Oil or Mineral Oil, For your Hair. I Recommend Brushing your Hair First before Cutting your Hair or Showering it helps with Less Knots in your Hair and you go way more Quicker than Standing or Sitting there Brushing more Knots out. Also I don’t recommend Using Rosemary Oil it makes your Hair grow more with more Knots in your Hair And Your Welcome❤️
