Natalia Grace pushes back against allegations surrounding violence in a new interview with 'People,' which is on newsstands now. The 21-year-old, who was born with dwarfism, first made headlines after speaking out about her adoptive parents, Michael and Kristine Barnett, who had claimed she was lying about her young age. The new comments arrive days before her latest life updates will be shared in 'The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: The Final Chapter,' airing Jan 6. on Investigation Discovery and streaming on Max.

I saw the DOCUSERIES they should have NEVER been allowed to adopt this young lady because they BOTH had mental health issues and the dad was WEIRD and EXTREMELY ANIMATED he was so eager to throw his ex wife under the bus when he is just as guilty. I pray this young lady gets justice for the HORRIBLE things done to her. The adoption agency should be sued they failed this young lady.

You can literally tell that she's only 21. And you could tell in her "childhood" photos that she was a CHILD!! Her foster parents need to be charged and sent to prison! They're some real weirdos! This poor little girl just wanted a FAMILY! She wanted PARENTS! Somebody to call MOM and DAD and give her LOVE as parents are supposed to!! They traumatized her!! They left her in an apartment to fend for herself, without knowing how to, at NINE YEARS OLD! That isn't just child neglect. That's AB*SE! That's T*RTURE! That's some weird, psycho type sh*t!! Her having body hair in NO way, shape or form proves that she's an adult. 😂 That's the most absurd thing I've ever heard. Any doctor would have told them that, while not the most common, children CAN develop early in that sense! My niece was only 8 when she developed body hair. It's ESPECIALLY more likely when that child has certain genetic conditions/mutations as Natalia does. I think it's BEYOND insane that this story is still being looked into so much, when it really should have been a simple "open and shut" situation! Lock them child t*rturers up and throw away the key!

This story is such a great example about how unconscious bias can be created about people with disabilities. To anyone with dwarfism they could tell from minute one that she was a little child. For a good portion of the average sized world they were having trouble seeing it because they were being told since she has dwarfism that means it's hard to tell an adult from a child. That is absolutely not true. I have a disability and it's amazing the stuff that people see based on negative stereotypes they've been taught. Once they shake those everything comes into focus and they can see clearly. The parents were truly evil on so many levels for this :-( I just really hope that the Hulu series try to look at it from the point of view of an innocent child taken advantage of by abusive adoptive parents.

My son has reactive attachment disorder, too. (Cps placed him in the abuser’s home they claimed I was failing to protect against for the first year of his life until I won my dependency trial .) It’s the lack of a conscience developing specifically from early separation and multiple caregivers. I was a neglected failure to thrive baby and didn’t even get it. Something about a baby not knowing who they belong to will fck them up more than anything else. All the accusations against her are things I’ve already dealt with . If I remember correctly the guardian posted a pic with her after the last series and they are still in touch although they have like ten fb profiles . I hope she’s happy now after all this .

Natalia is an adult by now and somehow drama is still finding her. Sometimes it's not a coincidence when it's with three different foster families. People are complicated.
