I have noticed in several successful athletes (specially in the case of “artistic” sports like tennis or soccer) that they have a strong Venus, and not necessarily a strong Mars (which was also my expectation)…. I have also noticed that some even have what one could consider a “weak” Mars (like Mars in Cancer) …. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

my own interpretation of this has been that, somehow, athleticism can also be connected to some type of physical artistry and/or gifted physicality (Venus in Libra/Taurus) more so that to a certain type of Explosive/Fiery Spirit…. I would assume that in the case of more Martial Sports (like boxing or karate) then a strong Mars would indeed be more likely present 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

I have a theory why athletes aren't very common; it's because to be an athlete for most sports you have to follow orders and go along to get along. There's a lot of politics in sports and cooperation. Also, speaking for myself, sports are fun but they always struck me as a waist of time and too high risk in the way that they are treated in our society. Would be very curious to know how many professional bodybuilders and powerlifters are involved, the more individual sports

Hmm. I'm not sure if strength is the nature of masculinity per se as it is applicable to femininity as well. Strength is found in both ends of the spectrum. I also think the reason women choose tact over honesty many times is not because of lack of strength but rather because we assess whether the other person is able to benefit from the truth. The reason we don't tell someone they're fat is out of consideration for their feelings, not because of lack of strength.
