hello everyone
Today's recipe is ....super soft apple crumb cake loaded with cinnamon apples and little crispy crumb topping. A homemade version of classic apple crumb cake or apple pie. ....hope your kids will like this moist, deliciously spiced apple cake.

To make the cake we need to:
Any kind of apples - 2 - 6 large apples or 8-6 small apples
2 tablespoons of sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder

1 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chilled butter || 125 grams
1/2 cup sugar || 100 grams
1 medium Egg
1/2 tablespoon || 8 grams baking powder

Shara Kirkby ...10/3/20 ... I too am confused by the video. I had to re-watch it again and again. First of all, what was the purpose of her dividing the crumb mixture in 2 equal parts ??? Also, I have never seen a crumble topping that called for milk. I think the milk was added to the cake mixture not the crumble. I also took notice that nowhere in the list of ingredients did she mention the milk. I'm confused. What is your take on this ?

I tried this and the cake came out stodgy and dense, and I only used 4 small apples. I think if you make this, you should use a small cake tin, otherwise the apples will sink into the batter and cause it to not rise properly
