I had it with my Spectra and my sx-70, so I want to show you how to avoid wasting film in this easy trick. You will only need a changing bag and 1 minute of your time and you will be ready to take great photos with your polaroid!!!

You don’t have to open the whole lid to remove the plastic. I’ve done before with my Polaroid spectra film. Just hold the cartridge and remove the plastic and that’s it. You can also do in a light room, nothing is going to happen as long as you still have the dark slide and be careful.

thank you so much for this tutorial! I got a polaroid 660 at a flea market and it was doing fine until i bought some new film (much more expensive than the camera itself!!). Would have been very frustrating if i would not have been able to solve this problem, but I tried exactly what you did in this video and... voila! Thank you!

Great and helpful video ! What really annoys me is that one has to tinker around in a changing back to get an expensive, brand new item to work the way it should. Wouldn't it be a kind of customer " service " by Polaroid Originals to offer modified cartridges in the first place? Okay, if your Camera breaks, you can always order a new one at the Polaroid Originals store. So no harm done. Irony off...

Recently, I purchased a used Polaroid 600 business edition camera online. The camera was working fine when I got it. However, when I switched out the old film it had when I purchased, I ran into an issue. It seemed as though the new film I placed got stuck when the photo was ejecting. There is a black piece in front of the camera that I accidentally pulled out with my hand thinking this was the issue (I was 100% wrong). Immeditely after I pulled out the plack piece, I tried to take a photo and it got stuck so I pulled out the photo. My camera won't work when I attempted to take new photos. As I have run out of extra film packs, I can't go back to reattempt to see what's going on. I do know that this issue started when I pulled the black piece out. I'm not sure if this piece needs to be tightened or reconnected to the silver rollers from the inside part, but everything else seems to be fine. Is there a video of possibly this issue being repaired?? Any info helps, thanks!

In my polaroid, i don't even hear the motor spinning. It's just the flash goes of and that's it.
But when i open it and put a new film in, it does print one, but only half. Then it just stops?

Hello! I tried removing it and the photo still doesn’t slide out. Is there another option to fix it? I just got it with a new film and I don’t know if there’s a cable charger that goes with it as well. Response would be appreciated! :)

Hello! Wondering if you can give me some insight in a problem I have. My camera ejects al the film back to back. I found a Polaroid 600 lms, bought film & as soon as I put it in. The camera ejected all the film in a matter of second. Now when I put in the empty cartridge the motor just keeps going & going. Like if it were developing back 2 back. Any advice? Is it a lost cause?

Thanks for the video. I have a spirit 600cl with similar problem but my film stuck in the middle of the rollers. So I don't know if it is a battery or a rollers or a pack problem :((

So do I HAVE to use a changing bag? I’m thinking of getting one of these for my girlfriend and I feel it would be super inconvenient to have her carry around something super bulky.

Hi, i have an instax mini 90. My camera is jammed. I got it in late April this year on my birthday. When i tried to turn it on it will make a noise like its actually suffering. And it will have a backward 3 on the number of film. The lense wont come out too. Please help!

This could be a solution but remember, it's the thicker chemical pods that are jamming the camera. When you're running already exposed film through the rollers, the pods aren't as thick as the ones on unexposed film since the chemicals have already been spread over the film. Has anyone had any luck using this technique on unexposed film?
