La Foule - Reminiscencias

This is a waltz of mine in the form of variations based on the hit made popular by Edith Piaf at the beginning of the 20th Century, La Foule. Originally it´s composed by Ángel Cabral and made famous by Hugo del Carril with its original title: Que Nadie Sepa mi Sufrir.

The sound of the accordion was very popular with the French version of the soung called La Foule but here I play my own piece "Reminiscencias" on bandoneon. It only borrows the initial intro from La Foule.

I think the tone of the bandoneon lends itself to this style of music more so than the accordion.

Qué belleza como hacés sonar ese fuelle (como solían llamarlo acá en Argentina). Tu virtuosismo, y al tocar solo, pone de manifiesto toda la riqueza que posee el bandoneón, cosa que no ocurre, por lo general, cuando tocan en una orquesta, es como que tocan de un lado o de otro pero sin hacer el acompañamiento, porque esto último lo hace el resto de la orquesta. ¿no es cierto?
